STI Super Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor uses the WHO Indicator to help users understand their blood pressure levels more easily. This indicator is based on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) blood pressure classification system, which categorizes the readings into different levels of risk.

Here’s how the WHO Indicator on the monitor works:

Color-Coded Scale:

The display typically features a color-coded bar along the side of the screen.

It ranges from green (normal) to yellow (prehypertension) to orange (hypertension stage 1) to red (hypertension stage 2).

Categories:

Green (Normal): Systolic <120 mmHg, Diastolic <80 mmHg

Yellow (Prehypertension): Systolic 120-139 mmHg, Diastolic 80-89 mmHg

Orange (Hypertension Stage 1): Systolic 140-159 mmHg, Diastolic 90-99 mmHg

Red (Hypertension Stage 2): Systolic ≥160 mmHg, Diastolic ≥100 mmHg

Understanding Your Results:

After measuring your blood pressure, check the color indicator to understand the level of risk.

How to Use the STI Super Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor:

• Prepare Yourself:

> Sit comfortably in a chair with your feet flat on the ground.

> Ensure your arm is bare, relaxed, and supported at heart level.

> Rest for 5 minutes before measuring your blood pressure.

• Attach the Cuff:

> Slide your arm through the cuff, ensuring it is snug but not too tight.

> Position the cuff about 1-2 cm above your elbow.

> Make sure the tube is aligned with the center of your arm.

• Turn On the Monitor:

> Press the power/start button on the monitor.

> Wait for the cuff to inflate automatically.

• Monitor the Reading:

> Stay still and silent while the cuff inflates and measures your blood pressure.

> The cuff will deflate once the measurement is complete.

> The monitor will display your systolic and diastolic blood pressure, along with your pulse rate.

• Review the Results:

> Note down the results for tracking or view the saved data in the memory storage.

> If necessary, press the memory button to review past readings.

• Switch Off the Monitor:

> The device will turn off automatically after a few minutes or can be switched off manually using the power button.

• Store the Device:

> Remove the cuff and store it along with the monitor in a dry, safe place.
